what a wonderful piece. I was blessed to be able to spend hours with my father every day as he was dying. My only regret was that I didn’t ask all the questions I wanted to ask, about his childhood, about his life with my mom, about how to take care of his peach tree, and how to keep the grass green. I didn’t want him to think I was convinced he was dying, even though I was. He fought until the end, so I didn’t want to steal his hope.
