It’s hard to write this. Not because the words refuse to come, but because the screen is blurring, obscured by my tears. This song, your words…your story are so, so heartbreaking. I had to choose to end a pregnancy at 24 weeks, because that’s how long it took to discover the issues my son had, and to arrange for me to choose to end his fragile life. My babe had no chance of living, and yet that decision still destroyed me. I can’t begin to imagine the pain of your decision. My heart bleeds for you, and for every woman brave enough to make such a decision.

But, thank the universe we were both allowed to make this choice.
