Bravo, Mama. You are raising a confident, competent girl. She’s lucky to have you as her mother. My youngest did the same thing when she was 5. Life was such a whirlwind back then, working full time, two young girls, and a dying father, it took me an entire week to notice. In my defence, she’d only cut a chunk from one side of her head. When I asked her, “Did you cut your hair?” She smiled that impish smile only a 5 year old can produce, and said, “Maybe. And I might cut more.” I just shrugged and told myself it would grow out.
